Throughout October, we’re inviting all We Walkers to add a little pink to their walks in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Get creative and have fun — whether it’s a shirt, hat, socks, f***y pack, or your favorite pink accessory, there are plenty of ways to show your support.

Don't forget to snap a photo and tag us so we can share your We Walk + We Wear Pink moments throughout the month!

Last Thursday, We Walk PHL partnered with Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission for a special walking tour of Bartram's Garden, where participants learned more about the soon-to-open Schuylkill Crossing Swing Bridge and the future connections it will create for pedestrians and cyclists.

It was a fun evening of walking, learning, and connecting with Philadelphia's green spaces — and just one example of an adventure you can go on with We Walk PHL!

🐸 September was a toad-ally good month for park care! From Cobbs Creek Park to East Fairmount Park and FDR Park, 75 volunteers spent time keeping our parks healthy and welcoming.

Together, they:
🗑️ Collected 20 bags of trash
🍂 Cleared 93 bags of organic debris
🌳 Tended 204 trees

A special shout-out to seven of our Volunteer Leaders – Laurie, Lucas, Mery, Tom, Arisa, Kenni, and Allen – for helping to make these workdays happen and for their continued support!

(Plus swipe to the end for a little friend discovered at one of our workdays 🐸 )
