Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am writing to you with a heartfelt plea for help. Our beloved neighbor and friend, Mrs. Felecia Coffee, has recently faced an unimaginable tragedy. On Tuesday, May 28th, the Coffee family experienced a devastating fire that demolished their home and took almost everything they own. Thankfully, no one was in the house at the time, but the loss has been overwhelming, leaving them displaced and in urgent need of support.

Mrs. Felecia Coffee is a cornerstone of our community. Through her organization, the Empowerment Zone, she has made countless contributions to our lives. She organizes monthly food distribution days, ensuring that no resident goes hungry. Every year, she hosts prom dress expos, helping our young women feel beautiful and confident. Her weekly breakfasts for veterans provide not just meals but also companionship and gratitude to those who have served. Additionally, she engages our youth with inspiring podcasts, fostering a sense of purpose and direction in their lives.

Felecia's giving spirit knows no bounds. She is always there to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or provide support to anyone in need. Now, it is our turn to step up and support her and her family during this challenging time.

While they await assistance from the insurance company and the Red Cross, we can make a difference right now. We have set up a GoFundMe page to help the Coffee family rebuild their lives. Any donation, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly towards helping them recover from this loss.

Please join us in showing the Coffee family that their community stands with them. Let’s come together and provide the support they so desperately need. Together, we can help Felecia and her family rebuild and return the love and generosity she has always shown us.

Jeanette Davis of DIVA's Ministry.
