This month’s beneficiary is Action Wellness PHL. Each year, Action Wellness serves over 2,000 clients through services that are client-centered, individualized and trauma-informed. Their work continues to build a strong, diverse, and committed community of caring dedicated to positively impacting the physical, emotional and economic wellbeing of the individuals we serve on a daily basis.

One of their annual initiatives, along with hosting the monthly Gay! bingo event, is Dining out for Life! The event raises money for community-based organizations serving persons living with or at high-risk of acquiring HIV.

The concept is simple: when you dine out at a participating location, a percentage of your bill will be donated to a local HIV service organization. Here in Philadelphia and the surrounding area, proceeds go directly towards Action Wellness and help fund our life-sustaining programs.

It’s the perfect appetizer for Dining Out For Life later in the month (which you can learn all about by visiting the Action Wellness table).
