For 17 weeks, Kristen and Joe called Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia home while their daughter, Layla, received specialized care at CHOP after being born at just 22 weeks gestation.

During that time, they spent every day by Layla’s side. The House provided comfort, community, and moments of normalcy for their family—including their 3-year-old daughter, Aurora, who found friendship, fun, and plenty of smiles along the way.

“The House has been a huge source of comfort and support for us,” Kristen shared.

Since 2020, Lindsay, David, and their son Landon have stayed at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia during multiple hospital stays and surgeries related to Landon's medical journey.

We had so much fun celebrating the launch of our new brand with our staff and guest families at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia.

From bracelet-making to face painting, the day was filled with creativity, smiles, and special moments together. It was a great way to celebrate this exciting new chapter while honoring the care, comfort, and community that have always made this House feel like home.

On this International Day of Families, we’re reminded that the most important thing for a family is being together.
Over the past year, Clementine and her parents, Marc and Mally, stayed with Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia three different times for a total of 105 nights while Clementine received medical care, including a recent 82-night stay following her bone marrow transplant. Through all of the long hospital days and uncertainty, their family was able to stay close together, and we are proud to have been able to make that happen.
