What Happens After a Survivor Reports?

A recent Guardian opinion piece examining the Cornell case looks beyond the allegations to a larger concern: how institutions respond when survivors come forward about sexual violence.

For survivors, the response they receive can matter deeply. Being heard, taken seriously, supported, and connected with advocacy should not depend on whether a case becomes headline news.
