History is better with a beer in hand. 🍺

Join us for Brew ’n History at Christ Church Burial Ground, an evening tour exploring colonial brewing, tavern culture, and the role a good drink played in early American life.

From Benjamin Franklin to a famous Philadelphia tavern keeper, you’ll visit the graves of Revolutionary-era figures and discover how 18th-century drinking culture fueled political debate, social life, and maybe a few revolutionary ideas.

Along the way, five stops will feature local craft beer samples specially paired with the people and stories you’re hearing at their gravesides.

🍻 Come raise a glass to Philadelphia history at Christ Church Burial Ground! October 2, 3, and 4.
