Introducing Jessica Lipsit! 💜

Jessica serves as the Logistics Coordinator for Royal Family Kids Camp, helping keep all the behind-the-scenes details running smoothly so campers can enjoy a safe, fun, and unforgettable week. She brings more than 20 years of event management experience, along with a heart for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or family challenges.

As a former CASA volunteer, foster parent, and mom of three, Jessica loves helping create a place where every child feels valued, supported, and loved. When she’s not coordinating camp logistics, she’s usually busy keeping up with family life and all the adventures that come with it. She’s grateful for the support of her husband and family, who make it possible for her to be part of camp each year.

Jessica feels blessed to serve alongside such an incredible team and is honored to be part of sharing the love of God with children who need to know they are valued, cherished, and never alone.

A reminder for all of our full time volunteers! Our training day is this Saturday! We are so excited to all come together and prepare for camp 💜

Thank you again to for providing lunch and for providing fidgets! We’ve also had binders & notepads donated! And we have a team of volunteers setting up & facilitating training. It’s going to be a great day!! 🎉

Every year at Royal Family Kids Camp, we celebrate “Everyone’s Birthday.” This special camp tradition began many years ago when a young boy shared that he had never had a birthday party. The natural response was simple and beautiful: from that moment on, every camp would include a birthday celebration so every child would feel seen, loved, and celebrated. This year, the Borjon family is donating a birthday cake designed for Royalty! Our campers will also enjoy a carnival-style birthday party created by the Union family and ABC Church, birthday boxes filled with goodies donated by the Drummond family and CLC Church in Paso Robles, and the love and support of many wonderful community volunteers. What a beautiful way to remind these precious children that they are valued, celebrated, and deeply loved.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Dennish for stepping in to serve as our camp physician. Every Royal Family Kids Camp is required to have a physician or nurse on staff. While Ashley Hatch has graciously agreed to serve as our on-site nurse, camp regulations also require that we have a physician available for extended medical orders and additional support as needed.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible team of professionals who are helping us create a safe, supportive, and healing environment for every child entrusted to our care. 💜

Introducing India Furber, our Camp Medic!

India is a mother of three and have been married to her best friend for 12 years. And fun fact, she is our Camp Nurse’s sister!! What a duo 💜

India began working in the medical field at just 17 years old and quickly discovered a passion for emergency medicine. Over the past 20 years, she have served in a variety of roles including phlebotomist, EMT, paramedic, cardiac rehabilitation coordinator, and now as an EKG technician at her local hospital.

When she saw that Royal Family Kids Camp needed medical personnel, she felt a calling to serve another part of our community that she had yet to be part of.

We are so excited to have India on our team! Thank you for joining us in supporting children in foster care! 💜

Introducing Ashley Hatch - our Camp Nurse! 💜

Ashley is a wife, a mom, and a Registered Nurse of 15 years who feels incredibly blessed and excited to serve as the Camp Nurse for Royal Family Kids Camp. From the moment she heard about this ministry, she knew it was an opportunity to serve God in a meaningful way while loving on some truly special kids.

Over the years, she has worked in emergency medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and presently home health, where she currently enjoys caring for our community. When she is not nursing, you can usually find her working alongside my husband and son on their cattle ranch and spending time with her horses.

We are so excited to have her be a part of all the fun, laughter, and memories camp will bring this year. Thank you Ashley!!
