6 days + 5 traps + 4 people + 20 miles = 7 kittens!
And 1 mama who, thanks to the amazing was TNR’d within a few hours.
We caught the first little one on a Wednesday evening, then spent the next few days checking the traps every couple of hours. Mama Cat took the bait Friday morning, but it took until Monday morning to get the rest of the babies.
We felt defeated at times but didn’t give up. 😼
It’s half a mile each way from the nearest entry point to get to where I spotted them playing one morning. Whew, we sure got our steps in!

We believe these are 2 litters so we will plan to try and TNR Mama #2.

Next stop for these littles is in Atascadero, where they’ll be adopted into loving homes and a life of pampering!

We have another way to kick off Wine 4 Paws Weekend THIS Friday, at Summerwood Winery!

From 4-7pm, enjoy music on the lawn by Burke, and PIZZA from PPK Food Truck.

10% of your wine sales will be donated to the homeless cats and dogs at Woods Humane Society starting Friday.

Bringing your pup over the weekend to taste? Grab a Barkcuterie for your little buddy! $12 each, includes homemade peanut butter and pumpkin dog biscuits, dehydrated sweet potato "salami", and pork sausages. ​
