She is growing in more than knowledge. She is growing in love.

This joyful young girl is one of hundreds of students at Solid Rock Christian Schools in Arua, Uganda, where education and faith walk hand in hand. At the center of our campuses stands Arua Community Church, a daily reminder that every child is deeply loved by God and created with purpose.

Our prayer is that as she grows in wisdom, she will also come to know the fullness of Christ’s love, a love that shapes her identity, strengthens her faith, and gives her hope for the future.

“And I pray that you… may have power… to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:17-18

Being five years old can mean holding your baby sister, watching over younger siblings, and learning responsibility long before the world says you should.

Family is everything here.
Older children help carry the weight of daily life, and in many homes, that care becomes part of the rhythm of survival, love, and community.

A beautiful full circle moment. 💗

For 10 years, Marci has faithfully sponsored children through Zozu Project, praying for them, encouraging them, and investing in their future. Recently, she had the opportunity to travel to Uganda and meet the children whose lives she has impacted through sponsorship.

What began with generosity became something far greater, relationship, love, and family.

These young men are doing more than attending school, they’re building brotherhood, accountability, and hope for the future together. In Uganda, fewer than 12% of young people complete secondary school, making every step toward graduation a powerful victory.

At Solid Rock, recess isn’t just recess… it’s an Olympic event. 😅

These girls have turned Double Dutch into a full airborne sport, complete with speed, skill, and jumps that seem to defy gravity. The height, the timing, the laughter… absolutely unmatched.
