To this end, NDLON works to unify and strengthen its member organizations to be more strategic and effective in their efforts to develop leadership, mobilize, and organize day laborers in order to protect and expand their civil, labor and human rights. NDLON fosters safer, more humane environments for day laborers, both men and women, to earn a living, contribute to society, and integrate into the community.

🚨SU TESTIMONIO ROMPE EL SILENCIO 🚨

Aquí les dejamos el reencuentro de una joven que cumplió 18 años en enero y fue injustamente detenida en Delaney Hall. Nos comparte las duras condiciones dentro del centro, su experiencia durante la huelga de hambre y las represalias que enfrentaron ella y sus compañeras cuando amenazaban con transferirlas a otros estados.

Mientras la atención se centra en lo que ocurre afuera, las personas detenidas y sus familias siguen siendo el centro de esta lucha. Gracias a y las otras organizaciones de la coalición de por todo el apoyo. Hoy ella está nuevamente con su familia y puede continuar con su vida y sus estudios.

Join us for a rosary in solidarity with our family and community members suffering inside. We will pray, bear witness, and call for peaceful resistance as we uplift the strikers’ demands and seek justice, freedom, and humane treatment for those whose voices are too often ignored.
