✨Art Division Presents La Estampa: A Print Exhibition at Michael’s Restaurant

Save the Date!
🗓️Opening Reception: Wednesday September 2, 2026 6-8pm
📍1147 3rd St. Santa Monica CA 90403

Art Division is pleased to present a special exhibition of prints by current and former Art Division students alongside works by artists from our extended community whose generosity and support have helped sustain our printmaking program. Presented at Michael’s Restaurant in Santa Monica, the exhibition celebrates the vibrant community that has grown around Art Division’s Sam Francis Print Studio over the past sixteen years.

Curated by Javier Carrillo and Victor Reyes, the exhibition brings together works by emerging artists with prints by established artists who have taught, mentored, or championed Art Division throughout its history. Together, these works reflect the spirit of collaboration, artistic excellence, and creative exchange that has defined the print studio since its founding.

🖼️This past Friday, our students visited “Let’s Get It On: The Wearable Art of Betye Saar”, at Roberts Projects, “Urs Fischer: YES and LA DUST” at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery and “Roger Herman: California Poppies” at Carpenters Workshop Gallery. It was such a great experience for our students!

✨As always a group discussion over lunch helped us connect the powerful, echoing narratives of the exhibitions.
