Peter Christian Hernandez Memorial Scholarship

Peter (Pete) was a caring and devoted son, brother, and friend. Peter influenced many people who crossed his path during his short but full life. During Peter's own struggles he was able to see the benefits of his time here and what was important to him as well, he always held true to his belief in the importance of obtaining a higher education. An education was the one thing that no one could tak

e away from him. It would be the ultimate achievement and reward for hard work and perseverance. Persistence and determination were two of Peter’ greatest values. When Peter set his sights on something, he would do what it took to achieve his goal. Persistence in continuing his education was a stepping stone for Peter' dream of one day becoming successful, and perhaps one day becoming a Doctor and finding a cure for Lupus and Cancer. This scholarship fund is established to benefit aspiring students majoring in the field of Bio Physics & Bio Chemistry. Set up for students who have the desire to change their lives through the power of education. This endowment is set up to honor Peter and his educational beliefs. The fund will live in perpetuity to support aspiring students for generations to come. These students will one day become leaders in their fields and professions.
