St. Barnabas Senior Services Live Well, Feel Well, Age Well St. Barnabas Senior Services (SBSS) was founded in 1908 by the Episcopal Diocese in Los Angeles.

Since 1967, SBSS has operated as a nonsectarian, nonprofit corporation. For over 100 years, SBSS has been serving aging and economically vulnerable residents in Los Angeles. In order to meet the needs of Los Angeles’ aging population, SBSS provides nutrition, transportation, adult day health care, and social services, as well as wellness and longevity education and activities. In addition, SBSS is leading advocacy and civic engagement efforts to ensure seniors’ access to life-enhancing services. Through program excellence, commitment to innovation, and a passion for helping vulnerable seniors, SBSS is making positive changes in the lives of seniors in Los Angeles.

Ready to feel more confident using technology? Adults ages 60 and older can join free, in-person technology classes and get guidance at St. Barnabas Senior Services (SBSS). Learn at your own pace, practice on computers available to use at our sites, and get assistance from staff nearby. Class topics and schedules vary by location.

SBSS also offers meals, fitness classes and gym access, educational and wellness programs, community activities, transportation, care management, and family caregiver support.
