🚨New VA policy is helping homeless and at-risk veterans stay housed.

VA can now directly cover rent, utilities, food, clothing, and more — payments go straight to landlords and providers.

This support is available now through September 30, 2027.

Sometimes a mission doesn’t call for a uniform. It calls for a wet nose and a wagging tail. 🐾

A disabled Marine veteran reached out to the New Jersey Veteran Support Alliance with one simple request: his granddaughter, a brave young cancer survivor, had been in and out of the hospital for weeks. Because of his own disabilities, he couldn’t be there in person. But he wanted to make sure she wasn’t alone.

Enter Operation K9 Beethoven. The moment they got the word, they arrived at the hospital with Beethoven, one of their most beloved service dogs. What happened next was pure joy. A hospital room became a place of comfort, connection, and hope. Beethoven did what these incredible dogs do best: he showed up, offered quiet companionship, and reminded a strong young woman that her family’s love reaches her no matter the distance.

This is the heart of our alliance. Veterans looking out for one another. Partners like Operation K9 stepping in without hesitation. And the simple, powerful medicine of a dog who cares.

Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible, especially that determined Marine grandfather who never stops serving his family. 💙

The 2026 World Cup Final is here, and you’re invited to watch it in style. Join the New Jersey Veteran Support Alliance and friends at Dominick’s Restaurant & Bar in East Rutherford on Sunday, July 19. Doors open at noon, kickoff at 3 PM.

Giant screens with surround sound. Prizes and giveaways. Photo ops. A few special drinks. And VanForceOne will be on site because of course it will.

In addition, Operation K9 Beethoven will be on site accepting new applications for service animals for the veteran community.

No tickets, no cover, no sad halftime snacks. Just a loud room full of veterans, cold drinks, and the beautiful game played by people who get paid way more than we ever did.
