We're always learning! Several members went to Ramapo College last month to attend a special, private lecture at the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. BTW, did you know that you can attend classes at Ramapo College tuition free if you are over 65 and there are extra seats? Kids aren't the only ones heading back-to- school!

Friendships are built slowly, by showing up and spending time together, over and over again. Women's Connection has so many ways to "show up" and build relationships - at peer group, at book group and walking group, at movie group and meals, museums and mahjong, in gardens, at a concert or a play, even at the zoo on a hot day. 😄

You snooze, you lose! Our special events are selling out quickly. Of course, our women's group has many monthly activities in addition to the special events. Book Group, Movie Group, Dining Group, Walking Group, new Mahjong Group, and many peer groups are all great ways for our members, women 50+, to meet and mingle too.

Twenty of our "Dine Arounds" women enjoyed Sunday brunch at the venerable Ho-Ho-Kus Inn. New members met older members. Friendships started, plans were made, conversation was constant. Cool fun on a hot day... games with gal pals! Mahjong, Scrabble, Rummikub, way too much food and plenty of laughs. Let's do it again soon! This is just one of many ways Women's Connection builds long lasting friendships among women 50+.

Love to learn? Love art? Love to get together? So do we! Next on our agenda - a visit to The Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center in charming Nyack. We'll learn what influenced the young painter, look at some of his early works, and gaze at the Hudson River. Lunch and a lively discussion nearby will follow. There's still time to sign up on our website for next week's tour.

Connecting to nature with Women's Connection at Leonard J. Buck Garden - meeting new members, making new friends, and enjoying a guided tour. Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch and non-stop conversation, of course! 😊 Truly a special treat on a warm July day.
