Hello Paramus Comminity. My name is Tiziana Cotumaccio, and I have been a resident of Paramus for 13 years. I am an educator (school counselor for the past 25 years), VP of Westbrook Middle School PTA, wife, and a mother of two middle school girls.
I am an involved parent and would
like to contribute to keeping our schools innovative, competitive, and most of all respected.
I firmly believe that education starts in the home and it should be our decision as to when certain topics should be introduced to our children. Parents need to be aware of what is occurring in our schools and what our children are learning. Parents must have a strong voice. I believe that we need to go back to the basics with Language Arts,
Mathematics,
reading , and writing being the priority. I also believe our students need to be technologically savvy in this ever-changing world where technology has become a priority in every occupation.
I would like to work with the students, parents, and community to make a change. I will be sharing my views and platform in the coming weeks ahead. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.
