It's Total Teen Takeover Tuesday and we're celebrating a day of fun, friendship, and healthy choices as Brent's Club members from Harriet H. Samuelsson Teen Center, Port Hueneme Teen Center, and Reiter Family Youth Center came together for an exciting incentive field trip to Lucky Strike Entertainment 🎳✨

The teens enjoyed two hours of bowling, arcade games, pizza, funnel cake, refreshments, and plenty of laughs with friends from across our Clubs.

Brent's Club is a prevention and leadership program that encourages middle and high school youth to live drug and alcohol-free lifestyles. Incentive trips like these celebrate their commitment to making positive choices and staying on the path toward a bright future.

A special thank you to Brent Shapiro Foundation for investing in our youth and helping create opportunities that inspire them to reach their full potential. πŸ’™

Kindness has no age limit. πŸ’™

Our Kindness is Free team had the opportunity to connect with community members at the Golden Future Senior Expo, sharing the message that respect, empathy, and compassion can make a difference at every stage of life.

From youth to seniors, kindness brings people together. Through conversations, smiles, and pledges to choose kindness every day, we were reminded that even the smallest acts can create meaningful connections.

Join us in spreading kindness throughout our communityβ€”because kindness is free, and it's for everyone. ✨

Cones with Cops was a sweet success!πŸ¦πŸš“

Our Boys & Girls Club members had a blast cooling off with Mister Softee while enjoying games, music, raffle prizes, and meaningful conversations with local law enforcement.

One of the most impactful parts of the day was watching young people ask questions, share stories, and get to know the officers behind the badge. Events like Cones with Cops help build trust, strengthen relationships, and create positive connections that can last a lifetime.

Hosted at our Harriet H. Samuelsson Teen Center, this event was especially meaningful as it serves youth participating in our Evening Reporting Center, an alternative-to-detention program that supports teens on probation by providing guidance, resources, and opportunities to build a positive future.

A huge thank you to the Youth Advisory Council for presenting this event, our partners at One Step A La Vez, local law enforcement agencies, and everyone who helped make this day possible. Together, we're creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and connected to their community. πŸ’™

πŸŽ‰ Total Teen Takeover Tuesday πŸŽ‰

What a night! Our teens came together for an unforgettable evening at the Sober Summer Kickoff.

From live music and dancing to delicious food, a photo booth, raffles, games, and family fun, the event was filled with laughter, connection, and community πŸ’™

One of the best parts? Watching teens from different Club sites meet new friends, spend time together, and celebrate the start of summer in a positive, welcoming environment.

Events like these create opportunities for young people to build friendships, make memories, and experience the sense of belonging that makes the Club feel like home. We also loved seeing parents, siblings, and families join the fun and experience our Club community firsthand.
