Channel Islands Maritime Museum Explore five centuries of exquisite unique maritime art, intricate ship models, and dynamic exhibits CIMM is always interested in new maritime volunteers.

The goal of the Channel Islands Maritime Museum is to preserve and share the wonders of our universal maritime heritage, highlight our complex interrelationships with the ecology of The Ocean, and showcase people's creative expressions of everything related to the sea. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is a cultural and scenic haven in the Channel Islands Harbor complete with world-class maritim

e art, ship models, and ocean breezes. The Museum also presents a series of temporary exhibits which highlight everything maritime. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is an independent, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The museum receives financial support from members, friends, charitable foundations, and local businesses. The Museum welcomes visitors annually from all over the United States, as well as from more than 30 foreign countries. The Elementary Education Program, staffed entirely by volunteers, conducts in-house tours for thousands of elementary school students each year. Did you know that CIMM’s collection includes more than 60 ship models? ⛵️

From models of ancient vessels to exquisitely detailed French prisoner-of-war bone models, these miniature ships offer a fascinating look at maritime history and craftsmanship.
