Initially founded in 1975 in Oxnard, California, El Concilio Family Services has been serving the Hispanic community in Ventura County for over forty years. The organization primarily focuses on the low-income Latino American agricultural community that surrounds the greater Oxnard area. This community is in desperate need of citizenship and immigration assistance and receives assistance from El C

oncilio. As well, El Concilio provides youth development programs for at-risk youth. El Concilio Family Services has held an accreditation from the Board of Immigration Appeals since 1992. El Concilio has maintained an 85% pass rate for clients applying to the U.S.
