Oxnard City Corps Learning Through Work & Service

City Corps exposes youth ages 12-24 to experiential learning and hands-on training through a variety of projects and activities, such as multimedia projects, work and service learning publications, and activities in partnership with other city programs and community organizations. Each City Corps project works as a vocational exploration and introduces young people to the world of work and personal responsibility.

🌊California Coastal Cleanup Day is just two weeks away!

Make a difference in your own backyard! Join us at Ormond Beach in Oxnard for a fun and meaningful day of community action 💙

In partnership with the City of Oxnard Public Works, Oxnard City Corps, Coastal Keepers, Wildscape Restoration, Reel Guppy Outdoors, Chumash member Marianne Parra, and Assembly Member Steve Bennett’s Office, we will come together to help care for this special place 🌱

There will be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy! 🗑️ Wetland cleanup, 🌱 Seed planting, 🌿 Invasive plant removal, 🐦 Birdwatching, 📚 Community resource booths, 🎶 Plus, enjoy lively music from DJ Samurai Eddy!

What to Bring:

Closed-toe shoes
Sun protection (hat + sunscreen)
Reusable water bottle
Gloves (recommended to bring your own, but there will be extras)

We can’t wait to see you there and make a difference together!

Meet Up Clean Up season is officially underway! 💚✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Community Center Park East to help make a difference. Together, volunteers tackled litter abatement, raked leaves, removed graffiti, and gave the park a fresh coat of paint. Every helping hand made a lasting impact!
