82 years ago today, these shores were a battlefield.

• June 6, 1944 - The sands of Omaha Beach were covered in smoke, fire, and sacrifice. Young men stepped into the unknown, facing impossible odds as the fate of a continent hung in the balance.

• June 6, 2026 - Today, the same beach lies quiet and serene. The gunfire has long faded. The waves roll gently onto the shore. Visitors walk where heroes once ran through chaos.

But beneath that peace lives a story that must never be forgotten.

The contrast between these two images tells more than history—it tells the price of freedom.

Thousands gave everything on D-Day so future generations could live in a world free from tyranny. Many never returned home. Their courage, sacrifice, and determination changed the course of history forever.

As we look upon the calm waters of Omaha Beach today, we remember the young soldiers who saw something very different on that morning 82 years ago.

From chaos to peace. From sacrifice to remembrance. From June 6, 1944, to June 6, 2026, their legacy endures.

We honor them. We remember them. We will .
