Forever Starts Today. ❤️

Some journeys to permanency take longer than anyone could ever imagine.

After spending 1,546 days in foster care, and 1,339 days in foster care for the other two siblings, three incredible children have finally found what every child deserves: a safe, loving, and permanent home.

This sibling group was one of the very first cases assigned to CASA of North Mississippi when we expanded into Lee County. Through every court hearing, placement change, challenge, milestone, and victory, they had one constant by their side, a dedicated CASA volunteer who faithfully advocated for them from day one until today.

While the road was long, these children never stopped deserving permanence, stability, and unconditional love. Today, we celebrate the families who opened their hearts and homes and made the commitment to love and care for these children forever. Your willingness to say “yes” has changed the trajectory of their lives.

We are also incredibly grateful for Suzanne Miller, the volunteer who stood beside these children for years, ensuring their voices were heard and their best interests remained the priority every step of the way.

Today is more than an adoption day. It is a day of hope, healing, belonging, and new beginnings.

Congratulations to these three children and their forever families. Your CASA family is celebrating alongside you. 💙💕💙

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy each day, and we are forever grateful.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take time to reflect on the true meaning of this day and remember those who never made it home.

From all of us at CASA of North Mississippi, we thank and honor our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

Today, we celebrate the women who love fiercely, sacrifice endlessly, and show up every single day for the children who need them most.

Happy Mother’s Day to every biological mother, foster mother, adoptive mother, grandmother, aunt, mentor, and every woman who has stepped in to stand in the gap and fill the role of “mom.” Your love changes lives in ways that words could never fully express.

At CASA of North Mississippi, we see firsthand the impact that nurturing, supportive, and compassionate women have on children who are facing some of life’s hardest moments. Whether by birth, by choice, or simply by love, you are making a difference.

To the women who open their homes, hearts, and arms to children in need, thank you for being a source of comfort, stability, encouragement, and hope. The world is better because of you.

Today, we honor all forms of motherhood and the incredible women who remind children they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
