We are so thankful for a community that continues to show up, especially after the past few weeks 💚

Empty Bowls has officially been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 17th from 11am–1pm at the Oxford Conference Center.

For $25, you’ll share a lunch and directly support families who rely on the Pantry. With everything our community has faced lately, your support means more than ever.

We are looking forward to gathering together and making this our biggest Empty Bowls yet 🍀

If you can’t attend, you can still give and make an impact. Every bit helps.

The Oxford Food Pantry is back open to serve.

The Pantry has been closed the last two weeks due to the local weather crisis. Our totally volunteer force has been busy caring for their family and neighbors. Our Community is truly blessed with so many caring citizens, Churches, civic groups, and local government.

The Oxford Food Pantry will reopen on Wednesday, February 11 for any Lafayette County resident who is eligible for Federal assistance (SNAP eligible) and in need of food.

The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Given the pressure on community services and specifically Pantry activities, we are hopeful this rescheduled event will be the biggest and best ever!

The Pantry staff is deeply grateful for the incredible outpouring of generosity from our community in response to possible reductions in government food benefits.

Night Owls Motorcycle Club made an especially significant contribution, both in size and impact. They donated more than 800 pounds of canned goods along with $1,000 in cash. Their generosity reflects the kindhearted spirit they’re known for, and we are truly appreciative of their support.

SERVPRO made a wonderful donation, and they also had a photographer onsite who will be sharing photos with us soon.

Local Girl Scouts delivered a huge donation on Sunday night. The photos of the school-age girls unloading food and the group shots are from their visit, their energy and kindness were amazing!

Silver Dollar Sales (Belmont, MS) generously donated three pallets of food on Saturday. The donor is the father of a Pine Lake community member and had the pallets delivered in their van. The pictures with the van full of mac and cheese are from this incredible contribution.

The Oxford Shriners gifted us a $500 gift card after holding a raffle, with many members writing in The Pantry as their chosen recipient. We are so thankful for their support!

Thank you again to everyone who continues to uplift our mission and help us serve families in Lafayette County. Every contribution, from $10 to $7,000, makes a meaningful difference and will be carefully used to support local families in need. Thank you for standing with us.💛🙌

October was full of generosity and teamwork at The Pantry!🎃💛

Kappa Sigma Fraternity collected canned goods every week at their house, donating a total of 900 pounds of food this month, an incredible effort that helps keep our shelves stocked for local families.

Chi Omega Sorority added some Halloween spirit by putting together 150 candy bags for families to enjoy with their groceries.

Delta Gamma Sorority helped us restock essentials with a donation of 9 cases of milk, helping us provide families with nutritious items that can often be hard to keep in stock.

We also want to thank St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, who partnered with 12–16 Ole Miss students at each event this month. Their steady support and helping hands made such a difference.

In total, 710 families were served in October, the most in a single month so far this year! We’re grateful for everyone who continues to show up, give back, and make The Pantry’s mission possible. 💛

In September, The Pantry was honored to serve over 612 families in Lafayette County. This important work is only made possible because of the dedication of our volunteers, whose time and commitment guarantee that every neighbor in need is met with care and support.

A special thank you to Christ Presbyterian Church, whose members faithfully volunteered with us this month. Their generosity and willingness to serve are a true reflection of community in action.

As we move into the fall season, we remain deeply grateful for the churches, organizations, and individuals who continue to sustain our mission. Together, we are making a meaningful difference for families across our community.
