Such a special semester with these young girls! We can't wait to share all that is to come with the Cultivate Program!

Maggie Wilkinson and Sara Bell with First Choice for Women have met with the 6th grade girls over the last several months to discuss self worth, friendships, and building positive relationships. They have encouraged the girls to recognize their value while highlighting the importance of choosing kind and supportive friends and being the same encouragement for others. They emphasized respect, healthy communication and the importance of surrounding themselves with people who lift them up. Their time together was filled with positivity that left the girls feeling empowered and confident. ❤️🖤 #988

Did you know that 13% of women in the United States are likely to have an abortion by age 25 and one in four women of reproductive age will have an abortion by age 45? In nearly every church congregation there are women who are silently sitting in pain that have experienced an abortion. In fact, nearly four in ten (36%) of women who have had an abortion were churchgoers when they ended their pregnancy. Most of these women are still carrying guilt, shame, and other negative feelings.

Abortion is happening inside and outside of the church. More often than not, women (and men) will choose abortion out of the fear that it is their only option. They believe that abortion will take away the problem. Yet, they have little knowledge of the physical and psychological damage that it causes. This is why we offer the Forgiven & Set Free Bible study. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus Christ - His love, mercy and grace - can set these women free.
