🗝️💎 Calling all treasure hunters! 💎🗝️

Hebrew school has been an adventure these past two weeks! We've been digging into our Jewish Treasures curriculum, and we've been having so much fun!

- Treasure #1: The Torah! We discovered that this treasure isn't locked away in a vault. It was given and belongs to to ALL of us!

- Tent time with Avraham & Sarah! We camped out in our makeshift tent and heard all about Avraham and Sarah's lives. The best part? We learned we inherited their kindness! Talk about a family heirloom you can't lose. 💛

- Alef bet superstars! Our little letter detectives are cracking the code, spotting and reading their first few alef bet letters.

Stay tuned... we've got more treasures to uncover!

What a fun start to a new year of Ckids Hebrew School! The kids were introduced to the theme of the year, discovering Jewish treasures! They wore their discovery vests as they unboxed our treasure chest and went on a hunt to find the treasures hidden around Chabad. The children were able to create some of those treasures out of snacks and had a lot of fun eating them too!
We started our Alef Bet curriculum, reviewing the letter Alef. The children used their new workbooks to familiarize themselves with the letter and enjoyed decorating and coloring the different Alefs on the page. Looking forward to next week!

Still on a high from a wonderful Rosh Hashanah!

Close to 50 people celebrated together with us over the course of the holiday! We enjoyed the meaningful services, beautiful Torah readings, the sounding of the Shofar, and the delicious Kiddush lunches!

On Sunday afternoon, we gathered at Southford Falls for Tashlich and Shofar in the Park, adding another special moment to our Rosh Hashanah celebration.

It was a wonderful way to begin 5787, and we’re looking forward to all that the new year will bring!

So much laughing, talking, and catching up at the JWC Challah Bake!❤️

It has been a while since we all got together. It was just so nice to be back again. We spent some time learning about the meaning behind challah and the different parts that go into making it and of course enjoyed braiding our challah using many different techniques.

Thank you to everyone who came and made our Challah Bake such a fun night! Already looking forward to the next time!

What does it mean to be Jewish?

At CKids, children get to discover the answer for themselves.

Throughout the year, they experience the beauty of Shabbat, the excitement of the holidays, the stories of our Torah, and the deep feeling of being part of something much bigger than themselves.

Through every experience, children build a connection to their Jewish heritage and grow in their understanding of what it means to be a proud Jew.

We’re looking forward to an incredible 2026–2027 year! 💙

It was so much fun designing our own cheeseboards on Monday! We started with woodburning and finished off by creating gorgeous cheeseboards filled with a variety of cheeses and delicious treats. Along the way, we shared meaningful insights about the upcoming Yom Tov of Shavuot. All in all, it was a beautiful, enjoyable evening spent together with friends and community!
