What a weekend for soccer!!⚽️🌎🎉First a big win from the USA Men last night and today was the last day of Super Soccer Skills and the players all got their Contest Design Winner t-shirts!! Thank you Everson Soccer Academy trainers and the parents who helped make this a great season for the young players. Registration will open the end of the month and U10 Rec will start in September after Opening Day. More info to come!!

U11 boys wrapped up their season with Rich Farm ice cream and a 6-3 win over Seymour today. Aeryn consistently showed excellent goalkeeping ability throughout the season and again today. William made his goalkeeping debut and made some excellent saves today. Goals were scored today by Jeffrey, Easton, Pawel, and Aeryn (2 goals) and Seymour helped us with an “own goal.”

The team showed up today to play and it showed. They made intentional passes, played tough defense, and attacked with numbers.

It’s been fun to coach this group of boys. They’ve grown a lot and improved just as much. With each passing season the are making leaps towards the players they want to be.

The U13 Boys Comp Travel team wrapped up the season today at home versus Wallingford with a big 6-0 victory!

Goals by Evan ⚽️⚽️, Piotr ⚽️, Jacques ⚽️⚽️, and Mason ⚽️ (PK).

We got Jacob out of goal and up top as a striker for a good portion of the second half, while Lincoln stepped into goal and confidently shut down a breakaway opportunity.

The boys had the chance to switch positions, try new roles, and simply enjoy the game. The energy was electric from start to finish, and it was so much fun watching them play with confidence, teamwork, and joy in their final game of the season.

We wrapped it all up with a well-earned ice cream celebration afterward (thanks, Coach Dave! 🍦).

U11 Girls had a FANTASTIC last game of our season!! They played Sterling AFC in Stratford and even though it's hot and humid, the girls pushed through and played as a team with communication and great passing plays. After Sterling scored the first goal of the game halfway through the second half, the girls responded and Jesilda scored, tying up the game again within minutes. The coaches couldn't be prouder of how they ended their season. They had ice cream to celebrate their hardwork.

Boys U13 Comp Travel battled through a very hot and humid away match against Milford today. Coming up short 2-5

Unfortunately, playing the entire first half without any subs took a toll on the boys’ energy, but they never stopped fighting and competing.

Jacob commanded the goal from start to finish, organizing from the back and making several incredible saves to keep us in the game.

Jacques put us on the board with a beautiful direct kick, and Jamieson added our second goal, finishing off an excellent cross from Piotr.

A big shoutout goes to Ryan, Jamieson, and Luke D. for their strong defensive play. They faced some very physical opponents, stayed composed, defended smart, and battled hard every minute they were on the field.

One more game to go! Tomorrow is our final match of the season, and it’s at HOME. We’re hoping to finish strong and send this season out on a high note. 💪🏼⚽️🔥
