On Friday, we closed out the summer with an awesome Dance Party! 🎉 DJ Cheeky Star was here mixing up music for all ages, and everyone had a blast dancing and celebrating together.

It was so much fun to see our teachers and children let loose, dance, laugh, and enjoy some special time together. What a wonderful way to wrap up an amazing summer at OCC! 💃🕺☀️🎶

We would like to give a huge shout-out to California Closets for their incredible generosity and support of Ossining Children's Center!

California Closets reached out to OCC with an amazing opportunity for our School Age and Pre-K children. They generously donated backpacks for every student, along with an abundance of art supplies and iron-on patches so each child could decorate and personalize their backpack for the upcoming school year.

Their kindness didn't stop there! They also treated our children to juice and cookies, provided pizza for our Pre-K students, and even surprised our teachers with thoughtful swag bags.

We are so grateful for community partners like California Closets, whose generosity helps create special memories and supports our children as they prepare for a successful new school year.

Our oldest school-age children had an exciting field trip to iFLY, where they experienced the thrill of indoor skydiving in a safe and supportive environment. Before taking flight, the children learned about safety procedures and received guidance from the iFLY instructors. They showed great courage as they suited up and enjoyed the unique sensation of flying. The trip encouraged confidence, teamwork, and trying new experiences while creating unforgettable memories. It was a day full of excitement, laughter, and adventure!

Today our center enjoyed a special visit from the FOAM BUS – Bubbles Everywhere! Each class had the opportunity to participate in this exciting sensory experience filled with mountains of cool, fluffy foam.

Foam parties provide more than just fun—they encourage active play, creativity, social interaction, and sensory exploration while supporting children's physical development and emotional well-being. It was wonderful to see the children laughing, playing together, and making lasting summer memories.

The smiles on everyone's faces said it all—both the children and staff had an amazing time!

Last Friday, our Older 3's and UPK classes enjoyed an exciting field trip to Stepping Stones Museum! The children had a wonderful time exploring the museum's many hands-on learning experiences, sparking their curiosity and creativity every step of the way.

One of the favorite exhibits was the Village Neighborhood, a lively community space where children could explore a health center complete with a doctor's office and veterinary clinic, shop and serve customers at the Good Foods Café and Market, and enjoy imaginative play in the village park. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn through play while building social skills and confidence.

We had an amazing day making memories together, and we're already looking forward to our next adventure!
