We are officially just days away from the 2026 National Interdiction Conference, taking place in Oklahoma City from August 16–21!
This will be our final update email to everyone registered for this year’s conference. Our goal is to keep you informed and help you have the best possible conference experience, so please take a few minutes to read the following information.
CONFERENCE APP – DOWNLOAD IT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
To get the most out of the conference, you need to download our official conference app. Search for “2026 NIC” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
If you have the app downloaded and you've logged into your account on or before Saturday, August 15th, we will give you two free raffle tickets!
Sign in using the email address you provided when you registered for the conference. We use the app for virtually everything, including:
- Conference agenda
- Important announcements and schedule changes
- Vendor information
- Instructor information
- Class descriptions
- Hospitality events and activities
The app will be our primary way of communicating with attendees throughout the week, so you really do need it.
Important for returning attendees: If you still have last year’s app installed on your phone, delete it completely before downloading the new version. Do not simply update the old version, as doing so causes technical issues. Delete the old app, download the new 2026 NIC app, and sign in with the email address you used when you registered.

PARKING – $5 FOR A FULL 24 HOURS
Discounted parking is available in the parking lots located diagonally across from the Omni on the northwest side of the hotel.
At the beginning of each day, use the appropriate web payment link and enter your license plate number. A single $5 payment will cover a full 24 hours of parking, including overnight parking.
The payment site may reference an eight-hour parking limit. However, as long as you make the $5 payment and enter your license plate number correctly, you may remain parked there for the full 24 hours without receiving a citation.
If you make the payment but still receive a citation, please contact Chloe Orr, and she will help resolve the matter.
Payment links are posted on signs in each lot, but we have also included them below for your convenience. Be sure to use the correct link for the lot in which you are parked.

Please remember to make your $5 payment at the beginning of each day you plan to park to avoid receiving a parking citation.
OVERFLOW HOTEL
The host hotel is full. If you still need a room, we encourage you to check availability at the Courtyard by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown, located just a couple of blocks from the Omni.

TUESDAY NIGHT EXCURSION – TRUCK YARD
On Tuesday evening, we are allowing everyone to get away from the hotel and enjoy a fun night at Truck Yard, located just a short distance from the Omni in Lower Bricktown along the Bricktown Canal.
We have arranged for discounted food and drinks for conference attendees. Truck Yard will also have a live band, yard games, karaoke, and plenty more. It will be a great opportunity to relax, spend time with other attendees, and experience one of Oklahoma City’s newest entertainment destinations.
Additional details will be available in the conference app.
HOSPITALITY EVENTS
With the exception of Tuesday night, when we will be at Truck Yard, hospitality events will be held at the Omni throughout the week.
Complimentary cold, frosty beverages—yes, beer—will be available so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy time with fellow attendees.
We also have some special activities planned:

Thursday night: Your chance to ride a mechanical bull

RAFFLES
Numerous raffles will take place throughout the week to raise money for the NCEA Fallen Officer Fund, which provides financial support to the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. NCEA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We ask everyone to consider bringing an item—or two or three—to donate. From patches, challenge coins, and shirts to knives, fi****ms, gift certificates, and law enforcement merchandise, big or small, we will gladly accept it. Donated items will be combined to create larger raffle packages.
For every $10 in value that you donate, you will receive one free raffle ticket. Just think—you could donate a knife and use your free tickets to win a firearm!
Bring some cash because we have a lot of fantastic prizes to raffle off, and it all benefits a great cause.
