We offer bilingual services and connect families to resources across 30 counties in Region 9.

Health officials are warning about a dangerous new synthetic opioid called cychlorphine. It is up to 10 times more potent than fentanyl and has been linked to at least 55 d**ths across several states. In theory, it is about 500 times stronger than morphine or he**in. It has been found in counterfeit pills and illicit dr*gs, and standard fentanyl test strips cannot detect it. Officials also say that reversing an overdose may take five or six doses of naloxone, also known as Narcan, instead of the usual one or two. The good news is that knowing the risks saves lives. Carry naloxone if you or someone you love may be at risk, and don't hesitate to use more than one dose if needed. Call emergency services right away if someone is unresponsive or struggling to breathe. Pills that don't come from a pharmacy can never be trusted to be safe. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use, reach out for help. Recovery is possible, and every life is worth saving.
