Eventually, our inner world becomes visible through the way we carry ourselves, communicate, and interact with others.

That's why developing young men requires more than teaching external skills.

It requires helping them build character, emotional awareness, self-respect, and a healthy sense of identity.

When those qualities grow internally, confidence follows naturally.

The strongest presence in a room isn't manufactured.

It's developed from within.

If we want young men to show up differently in their schools, families, workplaces, and communities, we have to invest in who they're becoming—not just how they're perceived.

That's why we're building the Young Men's Conference 2026.

On November 14, we're bringing together 200 young men for a day focused on identity, leadership, emotional growth, and brotherhood—because lasting confidence isn't something you wear.

It's something you become.

Angel knows what it means to carry pain quietly.

Grief. Anxiety. Depression. Trauma. The past. Things that can sit inside a young man for years while everyone around him thinks he’s fine.

But pain does not disappear because a young man learns how to hide it.

Through Ever Forward Club and the Young Men’s Conference, Angel found something different: people he could trust, brothers he could connect with, and a space where he could begin letting go of what had been weighing him down.

Pain began making room for peace.

That is why matters.

We cannot erase a young man’s past. But we can make sure he does not have to face his future alone.

On November 14, we are creating that kind of space for 200 young men in Oakland. A place to be seen, heard, challenged, supported, and surrounded by people who remind them that what happened to them does not have to define who they become.

There’s more to him than people can see.

At first glance, this looks like a child crying because a game was deleted.

But it's really about something much deeper.

Children naturally form attachments—not only to people, but also to routines, technology, activities, and the things that bring them comfort.

When those things are suddenly taken away, the emotions they experience are real.

Those moments become opportunities.

Not simply to enforce rules, but to help young people develop emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy ways of responding to disappointment.

The goal isn't to eliminate difficult emotions.

It's to help children learn how to move through them.

Those skills become the foundation they'll rely on later when life brings rejection, loss, failure, conflict, and uncertainty.

That's why we're building the Young Men's Conference 2026.

On November 14, we'll bring together 200 young men for a day focused on emotional resilience, authentic conversations, mentorship, and brotherhood. Because preparing young men for life means teaching them how to navigate challenges—not just avoid them.
