Join AFSCME 3299 for a workshop to learn how passing Prop 40 protects our healthcare, our jobs, keeps emergency rooms open, and holds California’s billionaires accountable.

Workshop Overview
California’s healthcare system faces over $100 billion in federal budget cuts, threatening emergency rooms, public services, and workers' livelihoods statewide. Prop 40 keeps our schools and hospitals open and saves healthcare jobs from cuts. This one-time tax ONLY impacts Billionaires, not working people like us.
This workshop will explain why it matters to healthcare workers and working families, and outline how we can organize to win this November.

Acompañe al sindicato AFSCME 3299 en un taller para conocer cómo la aprobación de la Propuesta 40 protege nuestra atención médica y nuestros empleos, mantiene abiertas las salas de emergencia y hace que los multimillonarios de California rindan cuentas.

Resumen del taller
El sistema de salud de California se enfrenta a recortes presupuestarios federales que superan los 100 millones de dólares, lo que pone en peligro las salas de emergencia, los servicios públicos y el sustento de los trabajadores en todo el estado. La Propuesta 40 mantiene abiertas nuestras escuelas y hospitales, y protege del recorte los empleos en el sector de la salud. Este impuesto de aplicación única afecta ÚNICAMENTE a los multimillonarios, no a los trabajadores como nosotros.

En este taller explicaremos por qué esta medida es importante para los trabajadores de la salud y las familias trabajadoras, y describiremos cómo podemos organizarnos para lograr la victoria este mes de noviembre.
