Last night, the Vote Yes on D campaign took their message to the San Francisco skyline. At 9p.m., supporters gathered out front of the PG&E building on Folsom St. as the campaign projected a light display - a bat signal if you will - calling on voters to protect vital city services by voting Yes on Prop D.

The display called out the corporations and CEOs spending millions to try to stop the Proposition from passing - including PG&E.

Proposition D would require the largest corporations doing business in San Francisco — those with over a billion dollars in revenue and CEOs earning more than 100 times their median worker — to pay their fare share. The measure is projected to generate $300 million annually to protect health care, homeless services, and other programs facing cuts from both the city’s budget deficit and federal reductions to Medicaid and SNAP.

SFGH RN Brittney Hewitt delivered the message as to what’s at stake, the villains funding the opposition, and how Prop D can help.

We were outside the PG&E substation in San Francisco Thursday night to send a bat signal to the city: VOTE YES ON PROP D TO PROTECT PUBLIC SERVICES. We shined a bright light on the billionaires and CEOs who are bankrolling opposition to and trying to confuse SF voters about who the tax affects. The billionaire donors to the No on D campaign care about protecting their own tax breaks and excessive pay than the public services San Francisco residents and small businesses rely on.

Vote YES on Prop D and NO on Prop C by June 2!!

We are just days away from June 2nd! SF city budget cuts hurt our most vulnerable in San Francisco. Prop D fixes that. Vote YES on D!
