Take action to support Writers Guild members at PBS-WNET THIRTEEN, the Tri-State area's staple Public Media network. Your support now is urgent as THIRTEEN's management is trying to eviscerate the union by demanding the power to assign union members’ work to non-union employees, without any meaningful limits.
Please take a minute to send a letter in support of WGAE members at THIRTEEN and urge management to withdraw their union-busting proposals.
Workers are fighting for a fair contract that protects the union, provides fair wages and paid time off, but so far management has resisted these proposals.
New York City's PBS-WNET THIRTEEN is an iconic station across the Tri-State area, with programming that viewers have cherished for decades, and WGA East members are essential to that success.
The workers' next bargaining date is Thursday, August 22. By sending a letter to decision-making managers at PBS-WNET, you’ll help show them they need to come to the negotiating table prepared to make a fair deal.
Thank you for your solidarity and your support.
