PING - Providing Instruments for the Next Generation

PING - Providing Instruments for the Next Generation PING! serves 130 students on average, annually in grades 4 through 12. It provides band and orchestra instruments and musical enrichment opportunities.

To ensure all students can participate and achieve their instrumental musical potential at Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois, public schools, which includes Districts 90, 97 and 200, PING!:
1) Provides band and orchestra instruments, from grades 4 through 12, with no rental charge.
2) Facilitates one-on-one lessons for middle school PING! students with high school musician mentors.
3) Hosts mu

sic workshops for PING! elementary school musicians.
4) Offers musical enrichment opportunities, such as scholarships for summer music camps.
5) Supports private music lessons for PING! high school students.
6) Serves students enrolled in school band or orchestra that are in families experiencing low income or other exceptional circumstances.
