School is back in session this week, and we hope all students have a great start to their school year 💜You helped raise $12,493, giving our kids the gift of waking up excited to make new friends, learn new things, and to show off their new princess backpack/lunchbox combo. We're particularly grateful to:
The Book Loft in Oak Park and their customers for collecting donations
Ticket to Dream Foundation whose generous $2,000 donation funded us well beyond our goal,
J. A. Watts who donated 181 backpacks and lunchboxes for a 5th year,
Gene & Georgetti Chicago for being special event sponsors,
Honeywell Women’s Employee Network, who donated additional supplies,
Volunteers from Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church who helped unpack and sort the supplies,
and Calvary Memorial Church , our amazing hosts whose space is always ideal for our needs.
