Hephzibah Children’s Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and families: We have a therapeutic home for severely abused and neglected young children ages 3-11. Hephzibah Home is where abused and neglected children come to heal and grow, where they can be free of fear, worry, and loneliness. Our Family Based Services renews and strengthens family bonds and our Foster Care Services creates new, loving and secure family ties. Hephzibah's Day Care program offers an award winning educational experience for children in the community -- regardless of their family's ability to pay.

The BOO! Dash is THIS WEEKEND, and it wouldn't be much of a run without encouragement from the sidelines! 🙌Several high-schoolers from around the community show up each year to cheer on kids and adults alike as they run (or walk, or sprint, or roll) along the 1.5 mile route around Maple Park. Despite their shortcomings in the costume department last year, they are essential for keeping the mood high and the energy flowing. EASY 10/10 🎃

The kids living at the home are in love with the pumpkins, skeletons, and spiders everywhere - thanks to every volunteer who helped make this season so joyful 💜

What do Miss Frizzle, a ghost, and Waldo have in common? They all work at Hephzibah! Amy O'Rourke, our After-School and Summer Care Director embodies Miss Frizzle's fun-loving educational excellence. Rachel Barkdoll, our Program Assistant and Site Supervisor at Holmes, and Camiya Honorable, the Assistant Director of After-School and Summer Care, work with Amy to create the personal, educational, and supportive after-school care programs you know and love at all eight District 97 elementary schools. We admit we're a little biased - these costumes are 1000/10.
