This week, KIDS TOO Board Director Dan Vosnos was featured on WBBM | CBS Chicago (Channel 2), serving as a voice for the Down syndrome community.

Libertyville High School has recently come under scrutiny following allegations involving a former teacher. A lawsuit filed in March outlines an alleged pattern of grooming of a 15-year-old student with Down syndrome.

This case brings renewed attention to failures in mandated reporting—and the urgent need for accountability when student safety is at risk.

This Earth Day, we remember that a safe environment is part of a safe childhood.
