As the seasons turn and the veil between worlds grows thin, we gather to move, transform, and reconnect with the wisdom of our bodies. ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome Shoko Tamai to guide our opening movement journey at Autumn Alchemy! 🌙

✨ Meet Shoko Tamai

An internationally renowned dancer, choreographer, and artistic director, Shoko is the founder of Ninja Ballet, a unique practice blending ballet, contemporary dance, and martial arts.

Having performed on prestigious stages including Lincoln Center and London’s Royal Opera House, Shoko has devoted her life to exploring dance as a language of the soul — a pathway to healing, transformation, and connection.

Through her movement practice, she invites us to explore energy, awaken our creativity, and discover new possibilities within the body. 💫

This Halloween, we begin by arriving in ourselves — shaking off the old, awakening our senses, and opening the door to whatever wants to emerge.

This month, we are bringing together an extraordinary lineup of facilitators to guide our next Ecstatic Dance journey, Autumn Alchemy. Prepare to dive deep into a container of cultural fusion, ancestral prayer, and sacred movement this Halloween 🎃

Meet your guides for the evening:
🩰 Shoko Tamai () – A world-renowned choreographer, dancer, and founder of Ninja Ballet. Blending ballet, contemporary dance, and martial arts, Shoko creates a transformative movement practice designed to channel energy flow, heal, and connect the soul.

🎧 Omar Aena (Omar Aena) – DJ, cultural storyteller, and founder of Dance Beyond NYC. Rooted in his Middle Eastern heritage and the Sufi path, Omar’s sets are portals between worlds—bridging traditional ancestral songs with electronic pulses to move us as one body, one breath, and one heartbeat.

🎶 Nasty Brujas () – A medicine-folk duo (Sikoya Wood & Adriana Jamieson) weaving song, poetry, and ritual to honor the Earth Goddess. Drawing from Spanish and Celtic ancestry, they reclaim the power of the unsilenced dark goddess to take us on a musical journey of belonging, death, and rebirth.

Come as you are. Move how you want. Let’s transform together on the dance floor. Costumes are welcome!🔥

🍂 AUTUMN ALCHEMY 🍁
Every autumn, the world remembers how to let go. The trees don’t cling to their leaves. The light softens. The air changes. Something ancient begins to stir. Maybe you’ve been feeling it too.
This Halloween, we’re gathering to listen to that invitation together—not to escape the season, but to move with it.
We’ll laugh. We’ll sweat. We’ll surprise ourselves. We’ll become strangers for a moment, only to remember each other again.

🥷 Shoko Tamai’s Ninja Ballet opens the space.
🎧 Omar Aena carries us through the ecstatic dance journey.
🌙 Nasty Brujas helps us land with a closing sound bath.

A rich ceremonial cacao infused with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, mesquite, and maca root to awaken the body’s warmth and the spirit of the season.

🍂🌙 MEET OUR HARVEST BALL SOUND BATH FACILITATOR — YUJ ARCHETYPE 🌙🍂

After we’ve moved, released, expressed, and danced our way through the harvest, we’ll be invited to slow down and listen.

We’re honored to welcome Yuj Archetype to guide us into this final chapter of the evening.
Yuj is a subtle energetics artist, somatic alchemist, musician, and movement artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores the deeper relationship between sound, voice, music, movement, and the body.
For Yuj, these are not simply creative tools — they are pathways into transformation, authenticity, integration, and embodiment.

His sound bath will offer us a chance to soften into stillness and allow the body to receive what the dance has opened.
✨ A moment to breathe.
✨ A moment to listen.
✨ A moment to integrate.
✨ A moment to simply be.

As we gather for our Harvest Ball, may we not only celebrate what we’ve grown, but also create space to receive the fruits of our journey.

🍂🔥 MEET OUR HARVEST BALL DJ — SPASIBA 🔥🍂

Get ready to move. Because when SPASIBA takes over the decks, standing still is not an option😉

Born in Minsk and raised in the concrete jungles of NYC, SPASIBA spins a world of sound, weaving together European melodies and Latin beats with Afro, Latin & European house, techno, D&B, jungle, disco, trance, and driving melodic EDM.

But her sets are more than music. They’re journeys.
With a background as a champion Latin Ballroom dancer and a BFA from Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama, Katya brings an embodied understanding of rhythm, movement, and expression to every dance floor she creates.

Her intention is simple and powerful: to co-create spaces where we can shed our ideas of who we’re supposed to be at the door and let the body take over.
Through breath, bass, sweat, and sonic alchemy, SPASIBA invites us into a collective experience of freedom, connection, and transformation. 🌀

And for our Harvest Ball? Come ready to celebrate what you’ve cultivated, release what’s ready to be let go of, and dance your way into what’s next. 🍂

🍂✨ MEET YOUR HARVEST BALL WARM-UP FACILITATOR ✨🍂

We’re so excited to welcome Nika Antuanette to our next Ecstatic Dance!

Nika is a dancer, actor, performing artist, RYT 500 yoga instructor, and mindful movement facilitator who beautifully bridges the worlds of healing and performance.
Her approach to movement is rooted in alignment, breath awareness, somatic connection, and — most importantly — freedom in the body.
With a lighthearted energy and a strong technical foundation, Nika creates spaces where we can let go of the pressure to “do it right” and instead become more curious about what our bodies are asking for.
Through her wellness company, BlissIn Out, she creates immersive experiences that bring the healing and performing arts together — inviting us to explore embodiment as a pathway to greater connection, expression, and aliveness.

For our Harvest Ball, Nika will guide us into the evening with a transformational movement experience designed to help us arrive fully in our bodies before we surrender to the dance floor. 🍂
