The YMCA School Age Child Care Program serves the parents and school children of Clarkstown, Nyack, South Orangetown, and Ramapo Central School Districts by offering before and after school programs at local elementary schools through the fifth grade. These programs provide a closely supervised and carefully planned set of activities before and/or after school that meets the educational and child ca

re needs of working parents and their school children. We understand that it's not easy to take days off from work when schools are closed so we provide children kindergarten through the fifth grade with fun-filled days at our Nyack Facility during school breaks throughout the school year. The clubs run from 8 am to 6 pm. Summer Day Camp is also available at the Nyack Facility and is a carefully planned, flexible program in a supervised environment to care for children of working parents during the summer. Children kindergarten (child must have completed kindergarten) through the fifth grade are eligible. The program runs from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for 4 two-week sessions and is licensed by NYS. It includes indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, cooking, sports, field trips, special events and daily swimming.
