Week one of SSIP is a wrap! 🙌 This year's high school cohort stepped onto Notre Dame's campus for two weeks of faith, discernment, and an authentic taste of undergraduate seminary life — daily Mass and prayer, shared meals, genuine brotherhood, and a deep dive into the theology of the consecrated life. Ready for week two!

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Sacred Heart of Jesus, patron of the priests of Holy Cross!

Holy Cross Priests ground their model of priestly charity in the Sacred Heart of Jesus — that heart pierced by the soldier’s lance as the final proof that Jesus offered all of himself for us. In imitation of Him, Holy Cross priests in turn seek to offer all in ministering the Sacraments and preaching the Good News.

Heart of Jesus, full of goodness and love, have mercy on us.
