Adams County Su***de Awareness and Prevention (ACSAP) will host its 11th Annual Su***de Prevention on the Square on Saturday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Adams County Courthouse, located at 110 W. Main Street in West Union, Ohio.

New this year, the street between the Courthouse and Blake Pharmacy (Market Street/Bob Blake Block) will be closed to traffic, allowing space for food and drink trucks to be part of the event.

The evening will feature a guest speaker and provide an opportunity for community members to come together in support of su***de awareness and prevention. Whether attendees are looking to learn more about available resources, support a loved one, are personally struggling with suicidal thoughts, or have experienced the loss of someone to su***de, the event offers a welcoming environment to connect and learn about prevention and postvention services available within the community.

What You'll Do:

Conduct chemical hazard assessments of new and existing chemical products (i.e., basic chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, adjuvants) and mixtures thereof per Global Harmonized System (GHS) and country-specific classification requirements

Acquire and maintain supporting files upon which classifications and exemptions are based, following procedures and standards for record retention

Review draft SDSs and fine-tune output on a weight-of-evidence basis
