⚠️ IMPORTANT FOOD DISTRIBUTION CORRECTION!

The flyer being shared for Wednesday, October 14th contains incorrect information.

❌ The Adams County Shelter for the Homeless will NOT be distributing food tomorrow!

📍 The food distribution advertised is actually taking place at the Tractor Supply parking lot, NOT at the homeless shelter.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

❤️ PLEASE SHARE THIS UPDATE so families do not make an unnecessary trip to the shelter!

Every time you walk into the Adams County Homeless Shelter, you’re reminded of what a welcoming, home-like place it has become. ❤️

We are especially grateful to The Nature Conservancy in Ohio and the Edge of Appalachia for the grant that made our kitchen remodel possible. This beautiful space allows us to provide meals while giving those we serve a comfortable place where they can maintain their dignity and independence.

It’s more than a shelter—it’s a place that feels like home. 🏠❤️

We want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who continues to support the Adams County Shelter for the Homeless.

Every donation—whether it is food, supplies, financial support, or simply someone giving their time—makes a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Because of your generosity, we are able to keep food on the shelves, provide meals and needed items, and most importantly, keep the doors of the shelter open for those who need a safe place to turn.

When you donate food, you are helping feed someone who may not know where their next meal is coming from. When you give financially, you help us keep the lights on and continue providing shelter and assistance. When you volunteer, share our mission, or simply encourage our work, you remind us that we are part of a community that truly cares for its neighbors.
