We are excited to host our 4th annual Family Volunteer Camp on the Road in Atlanta! Family Volunteer Camp (FVC) is a program at ND where families from all over the country return to campus over the summer, spend the week in one of the residence halls, and perform volunteer work daily. The program aims to fulfill Our Lady’s mission of serving as a Force for Good in the community, while also passing the values of helping those in need on to the next generation.
Our FVC on the Road event is modeled after the immersive camp on campus but in a condensed time frame. Families with children 9 years and older will be invited to volunteer. Camp will run from 7:45am-4pm on Tuesday, 11/24. We will be handing out Thanksgiving meal baskets at Solidarity Food Pantry to shoppers, followed by helping with chores and spending time with residents at Campbell Stone Senior Living Community.
Space is limited; thus, only register if you are certain you can attend. Cost is $20 per person for lunch and other supplies. An homemade lunch will be made and served by Solidarity. More details & specific information will be provided after you sign-up and as the event gets closer.
