Malta House One of Connecticut's only transitional living programs for moms & babies. Long-term support for independence & hope. Malta House is on a mission to change this.

In Fairfield County alone…There are over 300 births each year to unmarried women ages 18-24 who are living below the poverty line and having their first or second child. Over 110 women are receiving homelessness/housing services who are pregnant or parenting between the ages 14-24 (30% of total homeless) and “211” reports that approximately 80% of women who request housing are put on a waiting list.
