The NRVT is more than a trail—it’s a living soundtrack of local birds, from cheerful chickadees to soaring hawks overhead.

The Norwalk River continues to flow forward through forests, parks, downtowns, neighborhoods, and marshlands, carrying with it the stories of the communities it connects. Its story is still being written. And together, we have the opportunity to shape what comes next.

We’re All Neighbors on the NRVT.
Dog waste harms wildlife, water quality, and everyone’s trail experience.
That’s why we keep dog‑waste bags available — so if your doggie makes it, you take it.

And please, no spray painting or marking trees. They’re living parts of this green corridor and deserve to stay untouched.

Together, we keep the trail safe, clean, and peaceful for all who wander it.
