A student who’s never met anyone outside their hometown meets a student thousands of miles away. They share their artwork, talk about their cultures, and realize that kids around the world aren’t so different after all.

Through a recent partnership with , students from Norwalk and Ghana connected with each other, not through a pen pal letter, but face to face (virtually)! 🌟

Over a series of Intercultural Video Conferences (IVC), small groups came together around their personal artifacts and the artwork they'd created. The conversation took off from there on topics such as: cultures, school days, traditions, passions… and, it turns out, a shared love of FIFA. ⚽

That's the moment GV-ArtLink is built for. Not just learning about another place, but meeting the people in it: asking questions, being curious, and walking away realizing they have more in common with someone across the world than they imagined. 🌎

Such an amazing installation in the heart of downtown Stamford! 🌟 "Mi Casa Su Casa" captures our imagination and reminds us of the power of shared spaces and creativity. We hope our teachers, students, friends and families have the chance to visit and experience it for themselves!
