ElderHouse is proud to support local community partners like Wheel It Forward, an incredible nonprofit that provides a free lending library of medical and mobility equipment for individuals with temporary or permanent disabilities, helping make mobility and independence more accessible to all.

We are grateful for the tremendous response to our DME Collection Day and extend our sincere thanks to everyone who stopped by ElderHouse to donate and support an important resource that makes a meaningful difference in our community.

ElderHouse Adult Day Center is grateful to be one of 30 organizations to receive a 2026 Fish Church Micro-Grant! Thanks to generous community donors like The Fish Church, ElderHouse remains accessible to individuals and families who need our services, regardless of financial hardship.

ElderHouse was proud to celebrate National Adult Day Services Week with Mayor Barbara Smyth! Thank you, Mayor Smyth, for spending time with our participants and helping raise awareness of the value of adult day services. Adult day programs provide supervision and socialization for older adults, give family caregivers much-needed support, and help more people continue living in the communities they call home.

At ElderHouse, we put that commitment into practice through meaningful activities, social connection, nutritious meals, health support, and individualized care. We're honored to be a vital part of the Norwalk community!

Declutter and Donate! ElderHouse is collecting wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, and other durable medical equipment on behalf of Wheel It Forward - an organization that operates a community lending library that enables anyone to easily borrow or donate DME at no cost.

Thank you to the Southwest Connecticut Transit Equity Foundation for its generous donation in support of our transportation program, which provides rides to older adults who attend our adult day center.

We also extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the SWCTEF Annual Golf Outing, including sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants. Your support helps provide essential transportation services and shines a light on the needs of older adults in our community. Thank you for helping us keep older adults connected, engaged, and supported.

The Southwestern Connecticut Transit Equity Foundation is proud to contribute $5,000 to ElderHouse Adult Day Center to help support transportation for the seniors and families they serve.

ElderHouse provides an incredible service to our community, giving older adults a safe, caring, and engaging place to spend the day. Reliable transportation plays an important role in making those services accessible to the people who depend on them.

This contribution was made possible by the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who helped make our annual charity golf outing a success. Their generosity allows us to put those proceeds directly back into our community and support organizations doing meaningful work throughout Southwestern Connecticut.
