A Tribute to the Life and Legacy of the Honorable Congresswoman Mia Love

Good Morning,

With heavy hearts and deep reverence, we invite you to join us in honoring the life and legacy of one of Norwalk’s own, the Honorable Congresswoman Mia Love — a trailblazer, a warrior, and a woman of grace. Mia made history as the first Black female Republican elected to Congress, breaking barriers and opening doors for so many who would follow.

After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Mia has been laid to rest. Now, we gather to celebrate her extraordinary life, her enduring spirit, and the love she poured into her family, her community, and her country.

Please join us on
Thursday, May 15th, 2025
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Norwalk City Hall – Community Room

As Norwalk’s first Haitian American Councilwoman, it is a profound honor to help lead this remembrance. So many of us know what it means to be the “first” — and Mia embodied that journey with strength, humility, and a passion that will never be forgotten.

We hope to see you there as we pay tribute to a life that truly made a difference.

With gratitude,
Diana Malette-Révolus
