🎓❤️💙 FDHS PTSA Congratulates Our 2025–2026 Scholarship Recipients! 💙❤️🎓

The Fort Dorchester High School PTSA is proud to recognize and celebrate this year’s three outstanding scholarship recipients! These seniors have demonstrated excellence not only in the classroom, but through leadership, service, involvement, and the positive impact they have made on our school community.

⭐ Taylor Barnes – attending North Carolina A&T State University
Taylor has distinguished herself through dedication, academic achievement, and a commitment to making a difference. Her hard work and perseverance have helped shape an impressive high school journey, and we know she will continue to do incredible things in this next chapter.

⭐ Kai Bergmann – attending University of South Carolina
Kai has been a remarkable example of leadership and service at FDHS. Through involvement, initiative, and a willingness to support others, Kai has left a meaningful mark on our school community while maintaining strong academic success.

⭐ Steven Nguyen – attending University of South Carolina
Steven’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence have made him stand out among his peers. His contributions to school life and continued academic achievement reflect the qualities of a true scholar and leader.

To all three recipients—thank you for the example you have set for your fellow Patriots. Your futures are bright, and we cannot wait to see all you accomplish next.

❤️💙 Congratulations, Taylor, Kai, and Steven! Once a Patriot, always a Patriot! 💙❤️

🎉 FDHS PTSA Wins National Grant! 🎉

We are excited to share that Fort Dorchester High School PTSA was awarded a grant from the National PTA’s Center for Family Engagement and the Disaster Relief Fund!

Our amazing PTSA President, Joyce Bailey, completed all requirements, and thanks to her dedication, we were gifted funds to give back to our school community. ❤️

Did you know that Fort Dorchester has its own food pantry to support students and families? The pantry is lovingly maintained by Mrs. House-Walter and her students, and we were proud to choose it to receive the donated goods purchased with these funds.

We encourage our Patriot families to continue supporting the pantry throughout the year. Donations of non-perishable food and essential items make a real difference for students right here at Fort.

This initiative reflects what PTSA is all about — supporting students, strengthening families, and serving our school community.

We are so proud of the impact we can make when we work together. 💙❤️

Yesterday we shared a little extra sweetness at Fort Dorchester High School! 🍪❤️

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, cookies were delivered throughout campus thanks to a joint effort between Student Council, FDHS PTSA, and FD Culture & Climate.

A very special thank you to our amazing PTSA student leaders, Kai and Steven, for helping organize and deliver cookies across the school. We are so proud of your leadership and heart for our Patriots!

It takes teamwork to build a positive school culture, and today was a perfect example of that. ❤️🤍💙
