As we gear up for our Spring Show, we’d like to announce the talented group of quartets we have singing! Our first featured quartet is the 2026 Carolinas District Novice Champ- HITCH! This quartet has only been together since January and has already made huge waves in the Carolina’s district, winning the novice trophy and receiving 4th place in the entire district! We are just now coming down from the clouds after an amazing weekend at the Carolinas Barbershop Harmony Contest in NC. The chorus could not be more proud of our 2nd place finish and award for Most Improved Chorus. Congratulations to The Land of the Sky Chorus on your Championship performance and Heart Of Carolina A Ca****la on your international qualification!

We also had 3 quartets in the top 10 with Brother Nature finishing 2nd and qualifying for the Barbershop Harmony Society Sing-In Contest this summer in St. Louis. HITCH-exclamation point won the Novice Quartet award, keeping the trophy in Charleston for a second consecutive year, and ChuckTown Sound Quartet delivered two awesome performances that were very well received. Also a big congratulations to Cackalacky Sound Machine on their NSC District Win and International Sing-In qualification!

What’s next? We are full steam ahead preparing for our June 6 show in Mount Pleasant featuring Full Effect, BHS International 4th place bronze medalist, Velvet Crush Quartet, Harmony, Incorporated 5th place bronze medalist, and many of our talented chapter quartets. Tickets are available now for $20. You don’t want to miss it.

Yesterday we had the privilege of being coached by the one and only Dr. Jay Butterfield! Dr Butterfield is an internationally sought after music teacher of all sorts and we could not be more blessed to have him with us. Thank you, Jay, for the amazing coaching and everything you do to help our chapter. We are forever grateful!
