After two great years of racing through the streets of Norman, the Maverick Criterium will not return in 2027.

Although this was a tough decision, we’re incredibly grateful to the riders, spectators, volunteers, sponsors and partners who helped bring MavCrit to life and made two memorable race weekends possible in Norman.

Thank you for showing up, racing, cheering loud and being part of the ride 🚴

We’re proud of what we built together and grateful to everyone who was part of it.

Here’s to two great years of MavCrit ❤️

The Pro Watercross National Tour was officially racing today, and yeah… it’s just as fun to watch as it looks.

The Pro Watercross National Tour rolls into Norman Aug. 21-23, bringing some of the best riders in the country to Hog Creek Campground for a weekend of high-speed racing on the water.

Racing begins tomorrow and continue through Sunday.

The Maverick Criterium, 10a-5p Saturday, brings high-speed racing, festival energy and community excitement to the heart of Campus Corner in Norman. Riders, race through a closed-loop course filled with tight corners, fast straightaways then sprint to the finish line. O'Connell's has the best views as racers zoom by just inches from each other...their speeds and proximity are breath taking. Come grab a great burger and cold beer...the close competition is intense, Parking is behind O'Connell's or in the lot at Boyd and Dean's Row. See you at O'Conn's!!
